Why Choose American Painting
Any Ca. Licensed Contractor must have a performance bond that guarantess your project will be finished properly, in addition to that, weare fully insured for a minimum of 1 Millioon dollars for your protection. Our Ca. Lic # is 505-334 and you can always check our status for free through the C.S.L.B. site, a dicision of the California Consumers Affairs, funded bu the state for your protection.
We have been servicing the San Diego area since 1992 and previously we were Malibu Painting since 1984, procuring our Ca. Licensed C-33 status in 1987, the year we were first licensed in Ca., however, our history goes back to Boston, painting Victorian homes since the tender age of 19.
California Contract law dictates that all work must be guaranteed no matter what for the first year, if negligent for four years, and further that all claims made to consumer affairs are to be investigated for up to ten years after completion. Beyond the normal legal contractor warranties I also offer extended warranties for a small fee, so that you can rest assured that all work done by me I will stand behind.
I proudly come from a family of Doctors, I was educated in the best private schools, I speak several languages, i have served the rich and famous in Los Angeles and Malibu, I am well-versed in treating others with the dignity they deserve and respecting their personal space and their property. I’m also the only one that will step into your home to complete the project, unlike my competitors, that will at times hire sketchy crews to get in and out of your space as fast as possible.
The American Painting Difference
Meticulous Preparation
- Comprehensive surface cleaning
- Repair of cracks, holes, and imperfections
- Proper sanding and smoothing
- Application of appropriate primers
- Protection of surrounding areas
Meticulous Preparation
Personally I have experimented with most of the paint products readily available, so when I make a paint recommendation it’s based on both, the quality and cost that most benefits my clients. Some paint companies have certain products with specific applications that they are most beneficial in.
Just like you, I like to shop and unlike many others, I like to extend you the savings as well. Like a friend that wants to benefit their friends, I discuss with you the best posibilities in terms of available materials for the job. The result is substantial savings yet unparelled quality when it comes to the desired products.
Expert Application
The result of our extensive experience is that you are ensured that the surface is properly prepared, nullifying any factors that could compromise the adhesion or longevity of the product to be applied, and even beyond, that the sheen in interior painting fixes the anomalies that should be fixed, and that the build , sheen and quality of the exterior product is again the one that can maximize both the beauty and longevity for your home.
For clients that are selling, I’m able to suggest the best paint combinations that will help sell it quicker, for clients that want to keep the home I can again improve it for the greatest enjoyment. I’ve even had clients that originally intended to sell but after the painting decided to keep it!
